Newsletter December 2025
Hi friends,
I have some very fun news to share and a small favor to ask.
This week, the Golden State Valkyries named me a “Keeper of the Realm”, an honor given to just 5 out of more than 11,000 season ticket holders. I’m still pinching myself. Even better, they officially dubbed me “The Storyteller” on their social media, which feels incredibly meaningful.
IYKYK: FTS— “For The Story” is one of my beloved catch phrases :)
If you have a moment, I would be so grateful if you could like and comment on the Valkyries’ posts featuring me. A little engagement goes a long way, and I’m hoping to parlay this momentum into a book deal for my finished children’s book “Little Teazen in San Francisco: The Search for the Missing Ingredient”.
The story is a joyful San Francisco adventure that highlights iconic local characters and landmarks, includes a loving cameo from our beloved white alligator Claude (RIP!), and of course features the Valkyries. It’s beautifully illustrated by the incredibly talented Kseniya Makarova, and this moment feels like a real “doors opening” one.

And I’m not going to lie… I definitely won’t be upset if you like and comment on all four posts (yes, there are four 😄). THANK YOU IF YOU ALREADY DID!! My heart is so full right now. Am I peaking?
Huge thank you for being part of my collective joy and for cheering me on. I feel so lucky.
And finally, for your winter reading pleasure, here’s a piece I’ve written that was recently published on Mindfulness.org:
What Unexpected Chronic Back Pain Taught Me: 4 Takeaways That Matter (including a guided meditation to ease pain)
PS: I’m really into cat accounts these days….don’t ask why. You either get it or you don’t. Lol.
